Shanae is a Registered Psychologist with a passion for supporting men’s mental health through convenient and accessible Telehealth services. Shanae brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by men.
Starting her journey at Blokes Psychology as a receptionist nearly four years ago, Shanae witnessed firsthand the courage it takes for men to seek support. Inspired by their strength, she is committed to helping men feel understood and supported in their mental health journey.
Shanae works with clients aged 16 and above, providing support for a range of challenges, including:

Shanae takes a collaborative and compassionate approach, creating a non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable discussing their concerns. Her goal is to help clients explore past challenges, navigate areas where they feel stuck, and work toward achieving personal goals.
With a strong interest in neurodiversity, Shanae is also particularly passionate about working with neurodiverse men. She enjoys assisting clients to understand what being neurodiverse means for them and discover effective ways to navigate life.
Shanae’s exclusively Telehealth-based services make mental health support flexible and accessible, fitting seamlessly into her clients’ lives.
Outside of work, Shanae enjoys long-distance running, cooking for friends and family, and recharging through self-care practices such as spending time outdoors, and savouring a good coffee on a slow morning.
