Tom is a Registered Clinical Psychologist with 15 years of experience. His diverse background has allowed him to work with people affected by acute trauma, anxiety disorders, mood dysfunction, personality disorders, substance use disorders and relationship breakdown.
He has provided critical incident management and post incident support to emergency services organisations, healthcare organisations and law enforcement over the better part of a decade. Likewise, he counts himself lucky to have provided psychological therapy to many service men and women over that time.
Tom works with clients to build on their own innate strengths to achieve personal goals and find more opportunities to be happy with their lives. Sometimes this may mean finding new ways to think, feel or act, and sometimes it means working through a traumatic situation or memories to claim back some normalcy.
Tom is passionate about ensuring men always have access to expert mental health support and is fully aware of the cultural difficulties men face when seeking support; both from others, and themselves.
